  • Come on out and join D2O for an unforgettable evening at RESTOREs annual Dance Dine and Donate fundraiser.   • D2O was honored to attend an amazing meet and greet on September 20th with the 12 honorees of the Changemakers Gala which will take place on December 6th. and sponsored by  Blessing Others All The Time, Inc. (B.O.A.T) The honorees had an opportunity to share information about their organization and the impact on the community.   • Effective August 28th to December 31st, Developed 2 Overcome will volunteer services to Sanctuary on 8th Street every other Thursday for 90 minutes. During this time, volunteers will meet with middle school youths to discuss various topics to enhance their communication skills, teamwork, self-confidence, to name a few topics. To date, the students have taken a sincere interest in the topics, have participated in role playing and sharing their thoughts with their peers and the team leaders. 

  • A presentation on Conflict Resolution was shared by D2O with clients of R.E.S.T.O.R.E. (Rebuilding Ex-offenders Successfully Through Opportunities, Rehabilitation and Education), which is a transition house for women on September 13th. R.E.S.T.O.R.E. was started in 2018 and created by Rebecca Davis of Jacksonville. D2O is pleased to be in partnership ship with R.E.S.T.O.R.E. and has presented various presentations since 2022.

  • Members of Bank of American volunteer 87 hours to support D2O. The volunteer hours consisted of researching grants opportunities, recruiting volunteers, website enhancements, and working with the community.

  • D2O continued to provide volunteer support at Horse Sense & Sensitivity during the months of July, August and September, 67 hours were recorded during this period. In addition, D2O donated sterilization materials to help with the cleaning of equipment, and hand-wiping. Volunteers have taken on the roles as lead and side walkers, while clients (children with special needs) rode the horses as part of their therapy.
